This is not a brain dead game you will have to think build and think on how to make your player the best in the land and that is what makes the game fun. you just dont move a pice on a board

There are many different playing styles which you can enjoy leveling in this simple and yet addictive multiplayer game.

If you are willing to log in daily and spend a fair amount of time learning the nuances of this battle game (against app bosses and other players) this is a pretty darn good game. I would prefer to give it 4.75 stars for a couple things: graphics are a little cartoony, developers tend to spring changes with little notice. However, I like that the devs generally listen to the players and are actively updating/upgrading the code. Cant please everyone so someone inevitably complains, but the interaction between players to improve the game alongside devs is awesome. Also, tons of players will very actively try to guide and assist new players so theres a real sense of community. Bottom line: I have played daily for 6 months and will continue for the foreseeable future, which should say volumes about Age of Legends.

I love my BlackBerry, but this is ridiculous.

The uken team is catering to the cash players only. They are making unfair tournements and turning the game into a joke. If you want to play a fun game this is NOT fun anymore. DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME, in my opinion they are cheating the new and low level players.

I love this game! Some of the tournament goals can be rather unachievable but it will be no fun if everything were easy.

This mmo has been around for a long time now. Theres quite a bit of underlying game mechanics to pick up on, but it is otherwise easy to manage, quick, very simple interface and light on your hardware. It spans all major smartphone platforms, so there is a massive userbase. With the built in forum function, help is never out of reach. Give it a shot.

Many reviews here are from brand new players. They have not played long enough to get a solid opinion of the game and its devs. I have played for a bit more than 2.5 years. Ive writen reviews for the game before, and most were good. Then UKEN messed everything up. You can skip to the end for a summary Pros: The game USED to be really very fun. The community is one of the best and closest you will ever find in an online game. If you join, you will make lots of friends. If you join a clan it will feel like a virtual family. You cant find the players anywhere else. Some have even found love. Lol. Its free to get and there arent any ads. However, you wont get far if you dont spend lots of money or even more time. See cons. Cons: Uken is terrible. They are hypocratic. They lie to our faces in the in-game forums. Their customer service is usually horrible. They fix whats not broken and refuse to acknowledge the many things that are broken. For example, we had a perfectly fine war-system about a year ago. They then went and screwed it up, even though nobody was asking for a change like it. Most games (this and other games of Ukens) practically rioted. Finally we saw a banner that said the classic system was returning. Alas, it was some hybrid of the 2 systems that is so bugged and so blatantly broken that wars happen very little nowadays. The same issues reoccur over and over again, and are never even acknowledged by Uken. If you came to war rivals alongside friends, you will be heavily dissapointed. You cannot get far by not paying a large amount of money. Players have literally spent thousands of dollars on this game. If you came in the hopes that you could be the strongest player, your hopes will be dashed. Its better to take the money to a comoany that deserves it anyway. Starting now would probably be a nightmare. special weapons, called Limited Editions (LEs) are now very common and are just handed out by Uken. So all the players youll face have had more time to build up their arsenal and you can never really surpass them. LEs used to be rare, got with real money or tons of time spent in-game, something for the elite players, and in-game income was most important because it paid for your regular weapons, which then could match the power of LEs. As LEs get more common and more powerful, income gets more and more useless and the game gets exponentially harder to start out in. The game hasnt evolved to meet the advances of Uken. Like the example above with LEs, many aspects of the game are so overshadowed and obsoleted they become a chore if you do them. Example: new regular weapons end at level 120, yet we now have players that are 700+ Many long-time players are leaving the game. I personally know many players that have quit due to the game becoming so stale. 2+ mass exodus have occured, yet Uken shows no sign of positive change. They apparently dislike testing updates before releasing them, because the game is buggy. Like, veeeery buggy. As I said, the war system is broken to the point where its detrimental. Issues like ingame alerts have been around for longer than I have. Bouts of extreme lag happen often. If you like to see a relatively bug-free, well-polished game, you havent found the game youre looking for. if youre not a people-person this game will be boring. Theres just not alot you can do. IE stamina, used for attacking players, recharges 1 every 4 minutes. For my usual base of 70, it takes over 4.5 hours to fully charge. If you came looking for something you can sink hours at a time into, move along. The learning curve is not easy. If you start youll be given a tutorial that hasnt been updated since the games beginnings. Make friends that can help you and read player-made guides in the forum. Even then, it takes a bit to get the hang of it. There are tons of campers. Most players are; camping is a necessary part of the game in order to get anywhere. Many are very helpful and friendly. However, most can smash you into pieces and you wont really ever catch up to them in terms of power. Though youll probably eventually see campers as a good, when you start youll probably be annoyed by them. Overall: If you came to make friends and joke around, this game is for you. Many great to people to be seen here. If not take your time and/or money somewhere else. Uken has been making the game worse and worse for a long time now and many long-time players are being fed up with it. At the current rate I predict it will be shut down due to lack of interest in 2 years tops, unless Uken does something to prevent it. If you do join, be warned: it will be awhile before you can make a name for yourself and start defeating long-established players. Summary: pros: -lots of friendly people, awesone community -free to get, no ads. cons: -Uken is just the worst -Many years old issues remain unsolved -buggy in certain places, updates appear untested, unpolished -war system is utterly broken -many players have left -game doesnt evolve to meet advances -very difficult to start out in, steep learning curve -may be free to play, but its definitely pay to win -cash investments have been utterly wasted so far as Uken doesnt use it to improve the game -campers may be annoying at first, but are necessary and many are friendly. -not much to do besides read forums -customer service is little more than copy/paste emails that are usually irrelevent hope this review from a long-time player helps, -✘- SтеaмРошеяеd
